Stuart Truax is a software engineer and machine learning scientist. His current work involves building systems centered around machine learning, signal processing, state estimation, and statistical inference.
Coming from a background in applied physics (microsystems), he received his Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He then performed post-doctoral research at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland.
In addition to his commercial work, Stuart Truax has a long-standing and deep interest in complexity science, particularly in the application of non-equilibrium and statistical physics concepts to the modeling of economic phenomena.
